EDG analysed and designed the piled foundations for two bridges as part of the Rockhampton Ring Road project. The work included development of an engineering geological models for the sites, geotechnical pile foundation design including provision of spring stiffnesses values for input into the structural models and abutment stability assessment and design. Drivability analyses were carried out for the bridge founded on driven pre-stressed octagonal piles.
