Aurizon Holdings Ltd engaged Golder to carry out geotechnical site investigation and design works for two bridges works on the Collinsville to Newlands branch line in Central Queensland.
Golder engaged EDG Consulting to develop concept and detailed designs pertaining to temporary works and bridge foundations at each bridge site. The scope included ground model development, geotechnical pile design, input into the structural pile design, permanent support designs for steepened spill through abutment batter slopes and temporary works designs.
