Since 2021 EDG has provided geotechnical advice and monitoring services to the State of Queensland and the project delivery parties for specific embankments and cut slopes of the Toowoomba Second Range Crossing project. Our role includes geotechnical investigations, interpretation of geological models, review and development of monitoring strategies, installation and monitoring of geotechnical instruments, interpretation and presentation of monitoring data, site observations and geotechnical assessment and advice from the data interpretation. We have worked with our clients to develop and implement robust manual and remote geotechnical monitoring systems for the project and regularly report to the project team.
